Comfortable and quietly located 4-person holiday home in SluisThis tasteful 4-person holiday home is located in the municipality of Sluis, in the village of Sint Kruis, between meadows, heather and forests. The house is located next to the owner's house, just outside Aardenburg, near the Belgian border.
Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, a beautiful piece of Zeeland, a guarantee for beautiful walks and long cycling tours. Dykes and roads will lead you along polders and from creeks, high trees and old knotted willows to centuries-old towns with a rich history. There's a bicycle junction system, so that you can create your own cycling tour, leading you along the most attractive places in the landscape.
Drowned land of Saeftinghe
This beautiful nature reserve is located on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium and is the largest brackish marsh of Europe. It's a very important for many breeding and migratory birds. You can see many birds here all year round, from greylag goose to sedge warbler during spring, to bald eagle in the winter. Seals are also regularly seen here.
Bruges' historical, medieval city centre is a UNESCO's world heritage site. You won't be surprised that the city is full of monumental buildings like the Provinciaal Hof, the fish market, begijnhof Ten Wijngaerde, churches and the Belfort. There are also several museums that can be visited; there's a lot to choose from, from modern visual arts to the new lace centre.
Besides lots of culture, you can also enjoy the atmosphere in many nice streets and shops and unwind on a terrace; if you're able to choose from the many restaurants, you can enjoy a wonderful dinner there.
This old fortified city is one of the most beautiful cities in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen; it exudes a relaxed atmosphere thanks to its Burgundian character. You shouldn't miss this town.
Hulst is surrounded by two fortification walls and you can take a walk over these old city walls. A visit to the Saint Willibrordus basilica is also certainly worth it.
The old city centre doesn't just offer many monuments, but also lots of shops, restaurants and ice-cream parlours, which are open all week long, even on Sundays! On Monday there's a large market.
