Description

4-person family bungalow on a holiday park near the sea in Baarland

This bungalow is located in Baarland, a serene small village in the Zeeland municipality of Borsele. Despite the peaceful surroundings, there is an abundance of attractions and activities. The nearby villages also offer a lot to experience; those who love tranquility will be able to fully enjoy it here. The popular tourist cities of Goes and Middelburg are easily accessible. The family campsite Scheldoord on the edge of the village attracts numerous visitors to the region every year, partly due to its proximity to the water. Just beyond the dike at Baarland, the Western Scheldt stretches out. Despite Zeeland being a tourist hotspot, this bungalow is located on its quiet side.

From the bungalow, it's only a short walk to the sea dike. Behind the dike, you'll find the beautiful Western Scheldt and the Schelde Beach, a small but charming family beach. Only when you stand on the sea dike does the magnificent landscape unfold behind it. Enjoy the spacious surroundings and the enchanting view over the water. Even during the high season, it remains peaceful and manageable. At the same time, the dike, the beach, and the Western Scheldt offer plenty of opportunities for activities and holiday fun. It's a true playground for children, where they can play in the sand and mud to their heart's content. You can fly kites, catch crabs, fish, go mudflat hiking, kite surfing, take beautiful walks and bike rides along the dike, and enjoy the impressive sight of the large sea vessels passing by up close.

In this stunning location by the dike, you are surrounded by expansive, green polders, and you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views with literal space all around you. This area is situated on the former island of South Beveland, entirely within the municipality of Borsele. This National Landscape is one of the oldest polder landscapes in the Netherlands, where centuries of battling against water have resulted in a varied and unique landscape with winding dikes, dozens of orchards full of blossoms and fruit, stunning nature, historic farms, and cozy villages. The surroundings exude authenticity and tranquility. Thanks to numerous cycling and hiking routes that run through picturesque villages, past historic farms, and over beautiful dikes, the area is best explored by bicycle or on foot.

- Guests can make use of all the facilities at Scheldeoord campsite, including indoor and outdoor pools, a fully organized children's entertainment program, a supermarket, and a restaurant.
