3 person apartment in a coastal bunker in Groede
This Coastal Bunker is a former artillery bunker, which was part of the Atlantic Wall during WWII. The bunker has a unique location in the beautiful green area between the village of Groede and the beach.
In 1974 a spacious apartment was built on top of the original bunker. In the meantime, a comfortable and modern apartment has also been created in the bunker, while retaining original elements and fully equipped. As a guest you can use the spacious garden with various seating areas and sun beds. This unique place is adjacent to Groede Podium, where there is plenty to do for the whole family and the beach is within walking distance. In short, a blissful place to relax and enjoy everything Zeeland-Flanders has to offer!
There is plenty to do in the vicinity of the coast Bunker. The Bunker is not far from the beach, Groede Podium is practically in the backyard and the many restaurants and beach pavilions make Zeeland Flanders a true culinary experience. The beaches of Zeelandic Flanders are the most beautiful in the Netherlands and are no less than 17 km long and four seaside resorts rich: Breskens, Groede, Cadzand and Nieuwvliet. Fortunately, the beach is a 20-minute walk from the bunker.
Beautiful clean sand where you will find shells in all shapes, but also oysters with beautiful drawings, small sea animals and ... a shark tooth here and there! Wherever you cross the dunes, you will always quickly reach the beach where a spacious spot for sunbathing awaits you. The beautiful, extensive dune area with walking and cycling paths is very popular with nature lovers and sports recreationists. The cozy beach pavilions on the beach and in the dunes complete the beach fun. Groede is located close to the sea at the Clementspolder, a beautiful dune area with walking paths, a raft, a decking path and stepping stones to cross the water.
The apartment in the bunker is suitable for 1 to 3 people and possibly a child who is still sleeping in a baby cot. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. The baby cot can be placed on request. In the living room there is a smart TV and a lovely spacious dining table. The toilet and bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and sink also adjoin this. The kitchen is fully equipped and fully equipped, including dishwasher and refrigerator with freezer. Apartment has a smart TV and of course has free wifi.
In the garden you can use all furniture, including two sunbeds, a dining table for 2 to 6 people, a spacious lounge set with a large floating umbrella above it and a sitting area with two chairs and table.

The historic town centre of Bruges has been included on the World Heritage List of Unesco. This city offers many monumental buildings such as the Provincial Court, the Fish Market, beguinage Ten Wijngaerde, the Houses of God and the Belfort. Besides, you can visit various museums, varying from modern visual arts to the new Lace Centre. Besides culture, you will definitely enjoy the cosy streets and shops, sit down on a terrace and enjoy a wonderful dinner in one of the many restaurants.
Submerged land of Saeftinghe
This wonderful scenic area is situated on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium and is the largest brackish water of Europe. Many breeding- and migratory birds live here. All year long you can observe many birds, varying from geese, sedge warblers in spring, to sea-eagles in winter. Seals are regularly spotted as well.

To avoid another flood disaster the Delta Works have been developed. Deltapark Neeltje Jans will give you an impression of the power of the sea. It’s not only about technique, there is a sea lion show, an aquarium and a water park as well. There is something for everybody. For both young and old.
