Luxurious ecological 4-person holiday home with lots of light in a quiet polder area.
At the border of Belgium you will find the picturesque Sas van Gent: a contemporary village. The place is special because of its location on the canal from Ghent to Terneuzen, which was dug in the 16th century and therefore also puts the area on the map historically. Be sure to visit Ghent or Antwerp, just across the border, where you can experience a versatile, wonderful day. In addition, the immediate vicinity is also very beautiful and you will find (especially) towards the coast many dikes and polder roads, creeks, old pollard willows and ancient towns with a rich history. Visit Breskens, Knokke (Belgium) and Cadzand, for example, or go out on foot or by bike and explore the beautiful nature.
The house is located in a quiet area with lots of nature and is 10 minutes from the sea. Nearby there is a football field and a playground where the children can play. You can walk through the polder area where you can relax. The house is completely ecologically built of natural materials with a lot of clay and wood. It is cozy and brightly furnished. This gives you a nice spatial feeling.
This luxurious ecological holiday home is fully equipped. On the ground floor you will find a kitchen diner with dining table. The living room has a sofa, television, CD player, radio and some books. † The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, combination microwave, Senseo, and a mixer
The bathroom is on the first floor. This is equipped with a bath, shower sink and toilet.
On the first floor you will find two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed.
Outside you will find a spacious south-facing garden. Which is equipped with garden furniture. Free WiFi is available.

Hulst
The old fortified city is one of the most beautiful cities of Zeeland Flanders. It has a Burgundian character and breathes a pleasant atmosphere. This city is definitely worth a visit. Hulst is surrounded by moats. You can make a nice walk over the old town ramparts. The Saint-Willibrordus basilica is definitely worth. The old city centre doesn’t only offer monuments, but many shops, restaurants and ice-cream parlours as well, which are open 7 days a week! On Mondays a large market is organized.
Submerged land of Saeftinghe
This wonderful scenic area is situated on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium and is the largest brackish water of Europe. Many breeding- and migratory birds live here. All year long you can observe many birds, varying from geese, sedge warblers in spring, to sea-eagles in winter. Seals are regularly spotted as well.
Deltapark Neeltje Jans
To avoid another flood disaster the Delta Works have been developed. Deltapark Neeltje Jans will give you an impression of the power of the sea. It’s not only about technique, there is a sea lion show, an aquarium and a water park as well. There is something for everybody. For both young and old.
Antwerp
This big city offers many historic buildings and monuments like the Cathedral of Our Lady. You can go shopping at De Meir or visit one of the many museums. Don’t forget to visit the Zoo, one of the oldest zoos in the world.
Bruges
The historic town centre of Bruges has been included on the World Heritage List of Unesco. This city offers many monumental buildings such as the Provincial Court, the Fish Market, beguinage Ten Wijngaerde, the Houses of God and the Belfort. Besides, you can visit various museums, varying from modern visual arts to the new Lace Centre. Besides culture, you will definitely enjoy the cosy streets and shops, sit down on a terrace and enjoy a wonderful dinner in one of the many restaurants.
